These are a few of the most common questions that new players/parents need to know.


When does the season start?

Registration opens late 12th August 2024. 

The junior season start date for 2024-25 season is Saturday 9th November 2024. Please check our calendar for important dates.



Can I purchase second-hand equipment?

We suggest looking on TradeMe.

You could also post on social media sites such as Neighbourly and Facebook to try and find what you need. We have set up a North City Cricket Club buy/sell/swap page on facebook too. 


What grade should I enter my child into?

If you are unsure of which grade your child should play, please contact the Junior Convenor at juniors@northcitycricketclub.co.nz

When you complete the registration form it will ask for your child's current year level at school. Once we know this we can then place your child in the correct team. 



When and where do we train?

Trainings take place at Linden Park for the soft ball grades, and in the nets on Linden Park West for hard ball grades. Team coaches set the training days/times. Seniors train at both Linden Park and Linden West too. 


Where can I buy new cricket equipment?

North City has a sponsorship deal with Cricket Express in Newtown. All North City members will receive 10% discount on all purchases.
